During Mobility

1. Enrolment at Anadolu University

After your arrival at Eskişehir, you have to visit Office for International Affairs. Please ask your buddy student to accompany you. We will give you a welcome package and inform you about the whole procedure.

The next step is your registration at your faculty. First, meet your Departmental Coordinator then go to Student Affairs and finalize your registration. Again, please ask your buddy student to accompany you.

Following documents are required for your registration at Anadolu University:

  • Copy of your student identity card given by your home university
  • Copy of the first and last pages of your passport
  • 6 photos (passport size)
  • Copy of your Acceptance Letter

After your registration, the faculty student affairs provide following documents:

-  Username and password

User name and password is necessary for the access to the online registration program. Using this password your coordinator can assist you selecting your courses. In addition, you will be able to follow all your courses and schedule at the same program.

-  Anadolu University Student Identity Letter and Foreign Student Information Sheet

Anadolu University Student Identity Letter and Foreign Student Information Sheet are necessary for getting the resident permit from Immigration Office.

-  Anadolu University Student Identity Card

Anadolu University Student Identity Card is a card that shows you are a student of Anadolu University. However, it can be given by the Student Affairs about 2 weeks after your registration. During the first month without your Identity Card you can use your “Anadolu University Student Identity Letter” for the main entrance and the other places. (Library, swimming pool, clubs, etc.)

After you get all these documents go to your Departmental Coordinator, access the system with him/her and choose your courses. Please keep in mind that you can take any course from any faculty as long as the course hours are not overlapped. You can also take the courses recommended by your departmental coordinator.

2. Change of Learning Agreement

It is important to know that courses that you choose in your first Learning Agreement may not be available. If this situation occurs, you need to prepare a second Learning Agreement During Mobility (add-delete page) with your Departmental Coordinator at Anadolu University.

Learning Agreement Add-delete page is an annex to the first Learning Agreement. Students only have to prepare it if they change any courses written on in the first Learning Agreement. Students have to write down which courses are deleted and which courses are added instead of them.

3. Residence Permit

Students must apply for residence permit at the Immigration Office within one month upon their arrival to Türkiye. First of all, you have to make an online application (https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/).

Documents required for registration at the Immigration Office are as follows:

  • Copy of Passport
  • Two (2) biometric photos (220x290 pixel)
  • Student ID-document (given by your Faculty Student Affairs)
  • Copy of your Acceptance Letter
  • Health insurance
  • Address Document
  • Declaration for Residence Permit (given by Office for International Affairs)
  • Approx. 100 TL fee

4. Orientation Days

Every semester starts with orientation days organized by Office for International Affairs and ESN Anadolu! The orientation days start with a meeting with general information about Anadolu University. ESN Anadolu (Erasmus Student Network) will introduce you to the student life at Anadolu University and give you information about trips, social awareness projects and more.

Beside that the orientation days includes a campus tour, a breakfast, a city tour and the welcome dinner/-party. We strongly recommend you to join the orientation days in order to meet all other exchange students.
